Why Troop 607

Does your son have the desire to try his hand at such high-adventure activities as backpacking, cycling, camping, swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, and white water rafting? How about a backpacking outing that takes you through 80+ miles through some of the most pristine wilderness this country has to offer (Philmont Scout Ranch). Maybe a canoe trip that takes you through 90+ miles of Canadian wilderness, only reachable by float plane (Northern Tier – Bissett). Or a week sailing, diving, and exploring the oceans (Florida Sea Base). Our Scout troop will participate in these activities and more in the coming year, and we would like to invite him to join Boy Scout Troop 607.

Whether or not your son has participated in Cub Scouts, he can begin building a solid future by joining the Boy Scouts. Scouting has a reputation for helping youth develop self-reliance, strong character, respect for others, good citizenship skills, and physical and mental fitness. For almost a century, our programs have instilled in young men the values and knowledge that they need to become leaders in their communities and in their countries.

You and your son can get a firsthand look at some of troop’s activities, and you can visit with our Scouts and their adult leaders. We meet most Mondays at the Elks Lodge – 14424 N 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85032.

We forward to meeting you!
